Celtique holds licences in three areas of the UK.

The Cheshire Basin is an onshore extension of the prolific East Irish Sea Basin in which over 176 mmbbls and 6 tcf of gas has been discovered. Celtique's licence was awarded in July 2008 for an initial 6-year term. The licence covers an area of 200 sq kms.

Celtique holds three licences in the East Midlands Basin of northeast England. The East Midlands Basin is the main historic centre of oil production in onshore England. The licences were awarded in July 2008 for an initial 6-year term. The licences cover an area of 250 sq kms. Celtique has a 50% non-operated interest in the licences.

Celtique holds four licences in Southern England.

Three licences are located in the Weald Basin of Southern England. The licences were awarded in July 2008 for an initial 6-year term. The licences cover an area of 1000 sq kms. Celtique has a 50% interest in the licences. These have conventional Triassic potential and unconventional oil and gas potential in the Jurassic at three levels; Liassic shales, Oxford clay, Kimmeridge clay and in tight Jurassic reservoirs.

One further licence is located on the southern margin of the Weald Basin of Southern England. The licence was awarded in July 2008 for an initial 6-year term. The licence covers an area of 94 sq kms. Celtique has a 50% interest in the licence.
