Celtique Energie Ltd are pleased to announce that the Cappouey 1 exploration well commenced drilling on 8th April 2014 and on the 3rd July 2014 the well was completed in preparation for future testing, subject to regulatory approval.
The Cappouey 1 exploration well was drilled to target hydrocarbons within the Cretaceous and is located within the Claracq permit, Aquitaine, France.
The Cappouey 1 well was operated by Celtique Energie Ltd and was drilled within budget and without any accidents or environmental issues.
The Claracq permit is jointly owned 50% each by Celtique Energie Ltd, wholly owned by Celtique Energie Holdings Ltd, and Investaq Energie SAS, wholly owned by SCDM Energie SAS.
